On June 10 (Saturday), the Macedonian A national team has the official gathering  for the June matches of the qualifiers for the European Championship 2024 against Ukraine (June 16, "Todor Proeski" National Arena) and England (June 19, Old Trafford, Manchester).

Most of the footballers called up for these two matches, i.e. the players who have already finished their club activities, did the first part of the preparations with the national team.

Deni Iliev, Ezgjan Alioski, Jovan Manev, Enis Bardi, Arijan Ademi and Ilija Nestorovski were unable to make themselves available for the preparations from June 2 to 8 at the "Petar Milosevski" training center, while Elif Elmas today he did training with his representative colleagues.

Blagoja Milevski - head coach of the Macedonian A national team:

- "Most of the football players have gathered, we expect the rest to join us in the next three days, on June 12 we should be complete in training after Alioski, Ademi and Iliev arrive.

I am extremely satisfied with this stage of preparations. The football players, although tired from the season in the clubs, showed commitment, professional approach and great enthusiasm.

We tried to achieve a certain balance in terms of physical exhaustion and the energy we will need for the next phase of preparations and the competitions that await us. We now put the emphasis on physical fitness, and from June 10 we are focusing on technical-tactical analysis and that will be the focus of training.

The Ukrainians will be led by a new coach, who will change the game system, but we are already used to changes that, to say the least, make our work more difficult in terms of preparing the matches. Such was the case before the match with Malta.

But for us, the most important thing is to be strong in the upcoming training sessions and to fully invest both tactically and physically. Although it is the end of the season, I am sure that the players have the motivation and energy for two more strong matches."
