The national team of Macedonia U21 has arrived in Belgrade, for the upcoming match with Serbia in the qualifying round for the 2023 European Championship in Romania and Georgia.

The selected players of the selector Dragi Kanatlarovski today in a positive and excellent atmosphere did the first training after arriving in the capital of our northern neighbor.

One of the key players in the defense of Stip Bregalnica in the current season in First MFL and an indispensable member of the national team under 21, Jovan Manev gave his view on the upcoming duel against Serbia.

"We did great training in Skopje, and today we had the first one after arriving in Serbia, at the complex of the Football Association of the city of Belgrade. We stand firmly on the ground, we know that we have a chance to fight for a positive result, we believe in our qualities, we improve from match to match and I hope we will continue in that rhythm. We have a great group of players, we all believe in success. We have the support of the coach and his professional team, they believe that we can achieve success not only in the match with Serbia, but also in the matches against the Faroe Islands, Ukraine and Armenia. It will not be easy to beat Serbia, but not impossible. We respect the opponent, it is a team that has great quality and potential, but they also have shortcomings. "We need to be calm, focused throughout the 90 minutes and take advantage of the opportunities that come our way."

On March 24, our young players will play against Serbia in Belgrade starting at 17:00, and on March 29, at the stadium "Todor Proeski" from 18:00 we will welcome the representation of the Faroe Islands.
