Defeat of the Womens A team, Natasha Andonova scored twice

This is the eight defeat of the Women's A National Team of Macedonia in the qualification for the Women's World Cup in Canada, 2015.

The national team lead by Dobrislav Dimovski was defeated in Czech Republic with 5-2 (1-0). Natasa Andonova scored both goals for our team. Our captain managed to put the ball in the opponent's net in 48' and 72'. The Czech team was dominating in the first half, when the hosts had 18 shoots on our goal, but only one managed to overwhelm excellent Chakmakoska. At the beginning of the second half the hosts scored for 2-0, but our girls returned with full power managing to score through Andonova. After that Czech Republic increased the lead to 3-1 with the goal of Martinkova, but Andonova scored again, for a record scoring of the Macedonian team in these qualifications. By the end of the game Czech Republic scored two more goals to secure the victory.

The following players were fielded for Macedonia: Elena Cakmakovska, Ana Veselinovska, Aneta Gjeorgjieva, Katerina Milevska (Tanja Mitrevska 30', Aleksandra Markovska 76'), Dragana Kostova, Monika Todorovska, Natasa Andonova, Gentijana Roci, Lence Andreevska, Afrodita Salihi (Natalia Naumoff 82') and Simona Krstanovska.

The only point for the Macedonian team in the qualifying group was accomplished three days ago at the match in Haapsalu, Estonia where we played a 1-1 draw against Estonia. There are two more matches until the end of this qualifying cycle, against Romani on 21 August, 2014 and in Italy on 17 September, 2014.
