Blagoja Milevski: There are no easy opponents, we are going to try to beat everybody

Our U21 National Team got their opponents at yesterday’s draw at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon for the qualification group for UEFA European U21 Championship, Poland.

To qualify for the championship in Poland, Macedonia will play against France, Ukraine, Scotland, Iceland and Northern Ireland.

-Our observation is that the teams are mostly equal in quality, with the exception of France, which is also a favored winner of the championship. I find our group very interesting; France is the favored team, we are playing two matches against France and we are not going to fold easily. We have a generation of great players, our job is to ensure that we invite the players that are the best and that can beat the opposing teams. It would have been great if we got easier opponents from the last pot, but there is nothing we can do about it. We are going to fight at every match, we are aware of our quality, and I hope that all the players would be in good health and ready to win. – stated the head coach of the U21 National Team, Blagoja Milevski.

Macedonia starts the qualification cycle for the UEFA European U21 Championship with a visiting match in Iceland on June 11, 2015. Our first hosting match will be against Ukraine on September 5, 2015.
